Zenith Guitars was founded by James Buckman, a lifelong guitarist and professional luthier devoted to the art of building, restoring, and perfecting stringed instruments.

Having played guitar since the age of seven, James began working on his own instruments as a teenager — learning the intricacies of setups, fretwork, and maintenance through curiosity and necessity. Over the years, that early passion evolved into a refined skill set spanning custom builds, structural repairs, electronic modifications, precision setups, and full restorations.

Now a full-time luthier at Musos Corner, James has had the privilege of working on hundreds of instruments from every brand and era, rapidly expanding his technical knowledge and understanding of what each player truly needs from their instrument.
